PREGNANCY, BİRTH AND POSTPARTUM CARE EXPERİENCES AND THOUGHTS OF WOMEN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: A QUALİTATİVE STUDY

The aim of this study is to determine the experiences and thoughts pregnant women during pregnancy, delivery, postpartum period in COVID-19 pandemic. research was qualitative conducted with 10 women, a descriptive phenomenological method used. "Descriptive Information Form" "Semi-Structured Interview were used as data collection tools. analyzed using thematic analysis technique. At end interview, total 13 main themes sub-themes for birth, obtained. During five identified under headings fear, restlessness stress, anxiety, difficulty follow-up, precaution. For determined loneliness, hope, precaution, fear. period, 3 emerged giving up on dreams, results will be beneficial terms raising awareness health professionals who care not only about physical but also mental health. Holistic should planned alternative methods offered by considering experiences, thoughts, individual concerns women. Women informed, guided have access services whenever they need them.
